From the moment I first met Julienne and Greg I was completely at ease and loved their relaxing energy. The calmness was especially fascinating since Julienne is in the Registered Nursing program full-time and working while trying to plan her own wedding yet was cheerful and passionate about the big event. Both their families came together to help support and make their dream wedding a reality. Being Catholic there was no question where the wedding venue would be, and they were blessed with a gorgeous church. Following the ceremony we were able to come together for portraits and they were able to relax and be themselves. During this time it was wonderful to see them interact together and how much they truly loved one another. Julienne has an amazing natural smile that is never more apparent than when she is with Greg. Greg is one of the kindest people and couldn’t stop beaming and giggling at his new bride with delight. Needless to say portraits with these two were a breeze as they made my job too easy by being themselves. Their reception was kept intimate and setup at Casa Cordoba, a fantastic Spanish restaurant in Montrose. The restaurant is nestled quaintly on a busy street, but the surrounding trees and floral ivy provide an amazingly quiet and romantic atmosphere. This venue was precisely what the bride and groom wanted for an intimate reception with family and friends. It doesn’t go without mentioning the food was amazing! Along with delicious dishes there was an awesome wait staff who ensured every guest was well taken care of, and the owner herself saw to the needs of the wedding vendors. I am honored to have been chosen to capture this day and to work with these two gracious families. Julienne and Greg were truly a blessing to spend time with and I know they have a wonderful future in store!
