The Locke Family & Maternity Session

I have had the pleasure of working with Jen a couple of times now. She is always such a joy to be around! It just dawned on me while writing this blog post, she and I have only worked together in the winter months…in the cold! : ) You would never know because Jen pulls it together beautifully during her photo sessions, her maternity session was no different. Our only small bump in the road during this session was Wil & Jen’s son Liam. Liam did not want to participate at ALL, he only wanted to run through the desert and play. You see Liam is slowly giving up his nap routine, while that makes him a big boy, it also made him a not-so-willing participant that day. I did what I do best with little people and let him run (dad had to follow him), but it gave Jen and I some time to focus on her and that little man in her belly. Liam absolutely enjoyed the chance to run around and get dirty, as boys do, (I have two, it’s what they do whenever you have something important to do) and so that’s how we got some smiles from him. That’s a win in my books! Congratulations Jen, Wil and Liam!
